This is a fun place to eat anytime. They serve. Interesting dishes in a very homey and friendly atmosphere. At Christmas they decorate with many lights and call it The Miracle. My friend and I had a delicious duck con fit dinner. Very delicious and a special meal at Christmas time for us. We also had each of us one of their special Christmas cocktails. Creative and delicious!
We went for the Miracle pop up. It was a very cool atmosphere and the food was good and plentiful for the price, but we waited about 25 minutes for our drinks, which came when the food did. Our server was pleasant enough, but she kept disappearing. They were busy and that's understandable, but she could have been much, much more attentive.
This bar had a super cozy vibe to it. The inside was a lot of wood and photos like a nice pub. The servers were super nice. The drink I had I didn't love but that wasn't anyone's fault. The menu wasn't super vegetarian friendly but I wasn't really planning to eat here anyways. I got a side of fries and they were fine.
My friends and I dined here for dinner, and it was a pretty great experience.
Orders:
Peachy Keen - great peach flavor and not too strong on the alcohol flavor. Definitely refreshing after a long day of work :)
Chicken Pot Pie Bites - the best thing was this appetizer. I love the "gravy" it comes with and how flaky the crust is
Ordinarie Fries - standard fries with short rib meat. The meat was dry and so were the fries
Ordinarie Burger - ordinary burger for sure but the ranch they served with the fries were honestly the best. The ranch is dill forward and went well with the fries
Short Rib - the rib was dry tbh, the brussel sprouts it came with were great and the potato pave was crispy
Branzino - worst dish I had here. They random bones were a turn off and there was a weird herb that they laid the fish on and it was so strong, it turned me off to eat the first more.
I would say, overall, the experience was indeed, Ordinaire. I think I could get these food in other spots and will serve a better flavor and better price.
Went to their miracle pop up and the atmosphere was so fun. We went after lunch so it wasn't too busy which was perfect. Seat times are for 2 hours. And their specialty cocktails which were fun and their chicken pot pie bites appetizer was amazing. We also had their French dip and burger which were typical fare but cooked well. Overall a really fun experience!
First time here, ever. Not sure why I have taken so long to finally make my way here. Reason to be here today? A dear friend having a farewell party. I ordered an Old Fashioned my lovely wife ordered a Gin Martini. Both drinks were good. We were a bit thrown off by the Martini glass but… yumm!
We decided to split the French Dip and it is delicious. For whatever reason (LOL) my wife ordered it with a side order of….. salad…
So for fun I asked for one french fry.
The salad ended up being delicious.
Annnnd, low and behold… I received one french fry on a plate with some ketchup!! THAT made my day and experience here just so much more enjoyable. Love it!
We also ordered the chicken pot pies, another yummy small bite.
We were sitting on the patio. I never made it inside. Next time, I will.
Suzie our waitress and all the other staff that circled our table were lovely.
If you’ve been to this fine establishment before, go again!
Cheers
I love this place. Eclectic decor and great service. Perfect for lunch or a night with friends. If this is your first time, you HAVE to get the Chicken Pot Pie Bites. They are fantastic!
Simply some of the best food and cocktails in Long Beach. Live music almost every night, but it's never overwhelming. Great atmosphere. In December make sure to go to the Christmas festivities.
